Kiln is made by 1994, an agency that migrates its own Forge servers with it. Email us and you’ll hear back from a developer, usually within one working day.
Open the migration in Kiln: the log shows what failed, and most steps can be retried from there. Your old server keeps serving your sites until you press Switch over, so there’s no rush.
Email us the link to the migration page, so we can see the same log you do
Tell us which step failed and what you’ve tried
Include the error from Forge if there is one
Billing
Payments, receipts and refunds
Payments are handled by Stripe as the seller, so your receipt comes from Link. Credits never expire, and a migration abandoned before switch-over gets its credit back automatically.
Our refund policy explains when credits are refunded
For a refund, email us from your account’s address with your team name
Questions about a charge can also go to Link support, using the details on your receipt
Account
Signing in and two-factor
If you’ve lost the device with your authenticator app, sign in with one of the recovery codes you saved when you set up two-factor authentication.
No recovery codes? Email us from your account’s address and we’ll help you back in after checking it’s you
Team owners and admins invite colleagues and connect Forge and DigitalOcean from Team settings
You can delete your account at any time from Account security
Security
Reporting a vulnerability
If you think you’ve found a security problem in Kiln, please tell us privately before sharing it anywhere else. We’ll confirm we’ve received it and keep you updated while we fix it.
